Quarantine Update for Travel to Sri Lanka

With effect from 27 January 2022 foreign passport holders traveling to Sri Lanka must obtain the mandatory COVID 19 Insurance for 12 US$ with one month cover for a minimum US$ 50,000, which includes hospitalized treatment for COVID-19 infection. This can be applied for at URL:  https://portal.pionline.lk/covidinsurance/ 

The period of stay in Sri Lanka plus an additional 14 days should be covered by the insurance.

This is a mandatory requirement for foreign travelers (whether fully vaccinated or not vaccinated).
