Scholarships in IT and Computing Studies (for March 2022 intake) offered by the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC) for Nepali Students

SLTC is offering 03 full - scholarships (Full Tuition Waiver) and 05 semi – scholarships (30-60% tuition fee waiver) based on high school educational qualifications for Nepali students.

Priority will be given for IT and Computing Degrees. Depending on the demand for studies in other disciplines, SLTC may expand the opportunities to study Degree courses under Engineering and Management Schools.

Only those candidates with impressive results at a Nepali examination deemed equivalent to G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination of Sri Lanka or qualifications required for admission to a university in Nepal to follow an undergraduate course of study leading to a Bachelor's degree, can be considered eligible to apply for the scholarship scheme.

Duration: 4 years for Honours Degrees and 03 years for General Degrees.

Students have the opportunity to complete the degree online or study on Campus (subjecting to study visa renewed annually).

Documents required at the time of applying : CV, Transcripts of Secondary Education Examination, Copies of Certificates of Other Educational qualifications and extracurricular activities

Note:

Full scholarship equivalant to US $ 10,800 Tuition waiver - If the scholarship awardees wish to come to Sri Lanka at any point during the study programme, students will have to bear own international travel and living expenses and hostel fees. No stipend will be provided. SLTC will provide airport transfers.

Partial Scholarship equivalent to 50% of US $ 10,800 Tuition waiver - This scholarship is only 50% of the tuition. Therefore, students are required to pay the balance US $ 5400. Tuition fee can be paid in eight (08) instalments (semester fee). Please note that each semester fee will have to be paid before the commencement of each semester. If the scholarship awardees wish to come to Sri Lanka at any point during the study programme, students will have to bear own international travel and living expenses and hostel fees. No stipend will be provided. SLTC will provide airport transfers.

Paid Programme:  Applications are also open for students who seek to follow IT degrees at a total tuition fee cost of US $ 10,800. (Which can be paid semester wise.) Application procedure shall remain the same as above.
