The Embassy of Sri Lanka shifted to a new location at Rudreshwor Chowk, Budhanilkantha on 01st April 2024.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka was shifted to a new location at Rudreshwor Chowk, Budhanilkantha on 01st April 2024. This new chancery is situated in a prime location of Kathmandu with easy access and better facilities to the visitors.

This initiative was taken during the visit of Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka Mr. Ali Sabry to Nepal on 21-22 December 2023.

The new Embassy premises was inaugurated by H.E the Ambassador, Air Chief Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana (Retd) followed by traditional ceremonies and religious activities.
